Mankato’s city calendar, a longtime tradition, is a useful communication tool that features public meeting dates and locations, contact information, 24-hour service numbers and important key city service messages for residents. An annual photo contest encourages citizen involvement and showcases Mankato’s quality of life and spaces and places. The top two winning photographs are enlarged, framed and placed on the walls of the Intergovernmental Center.
