Park Bench - Portable
|
Benches. Benches help build community in town centers and other public spaces. In a busy environment, benches are placed within view of the action, but out of the way of the flow of pedestrian traffic.
Park benches add comfort to the outdoors. They provide a place to relax and observe nature. In urban spaces, they make a relaxing spot away from the workplace and a perfect place for people-watching.
Benches are also appreciated by the elderly and disabled. Public benches provide a place to rest for those involved in outdoor activities.
Benches can be personalized with a fixed chrome plate.
Unique construction is also a possibility, as in the case of the bench designed using native stone in memory of Diane Manahan and thoughtfully placed in a park location of a place that was frequented and enjoyed. City staff is flexible and open to ideas to build community and accommodate vision.
